The CQV project planner is responsible for the day-to-day management and reporting in terms of cost and risk for the project execution for the consolidation at the program level.
This is done in a systematic and controlled manner, enabling the project managers and program organization to be able to sail an ever better strategic course with ever better data and trends.
Job Description
* Managing the implementation and maintenance of project processes for scheduling.
* Presenting schedule reports to the project management team and relevant stakeholders.
* Collaborating with other disciplines to drive towards project goals in keeping with the client's principles of trust, transparency and teamwork.
* Maintain an awareness of schedule interfaces with other projects.
* Manage the development, change and improvement of the client Master Schedule providing planning expertise to the project and programme team.
* Identify, evaluate and provide solutions to issues arising.
* Manage the change process and analyze schedule impact.
* Incorporate relevant financial/quantity data in the programme to produce a project cost/time distribution profile and communicate results to relevant parties.
* Display and evaluate the project critical path and advise the project team of the results and any appropriate corrective action.
* Produce and maintain project baselines and execute the change control process as needed.
* Produce project reports or data directly from planning software (Primavera OPC) arranging data to ensure alignment with the financial software.
* Understanding and reporting on a project using earned value analysis techniques and interpret/communicate the results and any corrective action to the project team.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as equivalent CQV planning role in O&G or Chemical/Life Science industry.
* Proficient in the use of MS Office suite including MS Project and Primavera OPC or P6 version.
* Experience in Oracle/Aconex tools is preferred.
* Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
* Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
* Excellent command of written and spoken Italian & English with excellent reporting skills.
* Permanent staff preferred.
