PACKAGING MATERIALS BUYER
The Packaging Materials Buyer reports to the Group Procurement Manager and is responsible for ensuring the strategic procurement of packaging materials (cans, bottles, closures, secondary and tertiary packaging) in alignment with business objectives and priorities.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Manage relationships with the Group’s strategic suppliers for packaging materials;
Negotiate commercial terms and secure supply agreements;
Monitor supply market trends and macroeconomic indicators to anticipate risks and identify opportunities;
Collect and updatesupplier pricelists within the ERP system in a timely manner;
Identify synergiesacross the Group and drive supplier rationalization initiatives to optimize the supply base through volume consolidation;
Scout, assess, andqualify new suppliers in line with internal and external requirements, involving the R&D department as needed;
Collaborate with the local Purchasing departments to ensure successful supplier onboarding;
Address material shortages by identifying alternative sources and resolving relevant supplier issues;
Support the digitalization of procurement processes;
Key Competencies
Good communication and negotiation skills;
Analytical and problem-solving abilities;
Good knowledge of data analysis and reporting;
Project managementskills;
Fluency in English;
Education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or a related field;
At least 2-3 years’experience in sourcing raw materials and/or components;
Experience in sourcing packaging materials is preferred;

Gross Salary from 30.000,00 €
Annual production premium;
14th monthly payments;
Possibility of working from home 2 days a week;
