Wood is recruiting for a Principal Project Developer to join its Energy Assets & Technology team focusing on solar, wind and storage projects. This is an opportunity to join one of Italy's most established renewable energy Project Development teams and help develop renewable energy assets. The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.
The Role
The Principal Project Developer will support the Project Development team across the full development lifecycle of utility-scale grid connected solar and wind projects, in addition to innovative technology solutions such as battery storage and green hydrogen, from greenfield prospecting to construction-ready status. The candidate will be the main interface with external stakeholders such as landowners, government bodies, Transmission System Operator (TSO) and engineering designers, in addition to internal stakeholders, liaising with planning, legal, finance and administrative teams. Moreover, the candidate will coordinate the assigned project team.
