Responsible for initiating, developing and/or maintaining commercial contacts, identifying and pursuing sales opportunities (hunter) and providing support to the appointed vendor/partner/dealers (farmer), in order to realize the formulated sales objectives on lease penetration rate, new business volume and vendor/partner/dealer profitability.
Analyze Health Care market segments, identify target opportunities, contribute to country market and sales plan.
Identify and act on, or actively pursue, sales opportunities, receive and manage quote requests and ensure follow-up of the opportunities within DLL Sales organization.
Support vendor/partner/dealer organizations in their business activities by providing information, training and financing expertise.
Structure transactions and/or deals deviating from program agreement, involve relevant expertise (e.g. credit risk, fiscal, legal, etc.) and balance interests of all stakeholders involved.
Effectively and efficiently meet customer business needs.
Develop local opportunities and establish, implement and roll out a program agreement with local customers, liaise with relevant functional disciplines and monitor/manage program performance.
Day to day:
* Analyze the HC business market to identify and target opportunities within the boundaries of DLL’s overall HC strategy and align it with the national sales plan.
* Actively identify, act on and pursue sales opportunities. Receive and manage requests for quotations and ensure follow-up of opportunities within the DLL sales organization.
* Develop and obtain approval for Partner, Supplier, Direct, Global Business Unit and Rabobank opportunities. Proactively manage opportunities and relationships, engaging with all relevant stakeholders.
* Manage business relationships with local stakeholders throughout the relationship lifecycle and at the national level, leading regular meetings with clients and counterparties in DLL.
* Work closely with team members within DLL who are responsible for HC activities to build productive relationships, align HC strategies and activities and generate new HC business volumes.
* Develop and deploy financial products, structures and services needed to support the acceleration and growth of HC business for end-user customers and our partners in the targeted markets to meet the current and future needs of our customers and balance the interests of all stakeholders involved. Expand existing products, including pay-per-use initiatives for new customers and asset classes.
* Represent HC and DLL to external stakeholders (e.g. customers and prospects) in line with business needs and external developments. Work closely with HC and strategic marketing to develop HC marketing communications.
* Drive growth of HC’s annual new business volume from €146 million to €250 million over the next five years.
