We are currently seeking a Instrumentation and Automation Engineer Junior, directly reporting to Instrumentation & Automation (I&A) section head to join our I&A Engineering division team based in Rome, Italy. About the Job You will work inside the Instrumentation and Automation Section, which is responsible for designing Instrumentation, Control, and Monitoring systems of medium, large, and complex projects. The role and your responsibilities include: Preparation of project technical specifications in line with Project/Client requirements; Preparation and check of Instrumentation, Automation, and Telecom relevant technical documentation such as Instrument lists, instrument datasheets, cable routings, I/O lists, Logic Diagrams, Bulk material take-off, Telecom Block diagrams, Instrument and telecom Layouts, etc. Involvement in Instrumentation / Automation / Telecom Requisitioning activities; Meet Project quality and HSE objectives; Ensure appropriate reporting on engineering/requisitioning activities to the Instrumentation Engineering/Requisitioning Leader; Interface with other discipline engineers; Review Vendor Drawings. You will have the opportunity to do business trips to attend technical meetings with Clients or Suppliers, visit Vendor workshops, move to other Technip Energies operating centers, and join our colleagues overseas. Occasionally, you will also have the opportunity to follow up engineering activities related to the Instrumentation and Automation discipline directly on our sites, supporting erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities. About You We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements: Qualifications: Bachelor/Master degree in Electronic, Telecom, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; Languages: English fluent; Main Skills: Previous experience of at least 0-2 years of working experience; Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with the design team in the resolution of project-related issues, in an international and multi-cultural environment; High interest with respect to the current Energy transition challenges and Digital transformation process; Availability for international mobility for either short or long-term assignments; Advanced knowledge of Excel/VBA/Query and Database management is a plus; Self-motivated, results-oriented, and flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team environment.
