Job Title: Senior Account Manager for EU Consumables Team
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our EU Consumables team as the lead Account Manager (internal job title: Strategic Brand Specialist) for our Amazon Vendor Service (AVS) program.
About the Role
This senior role will manage one of our biggest and most strategic vendors in Consumables, acting as a consultant and influential partner for senior stakeholders to drive long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Serve as the lead Account Manager for our top-priority vendors, delivering high-quality account management that exceeds their expectations.
2. Deliver results through others by influencing and managing the priorities of multiple stakeholders.
3. Collaborate cross-functionally to design and execute long-term strategies with your vendors.
4. Leverage your industry expertise to provide guidance to the account team, enabling them to deliver the best customer experience and achieve our goals.
5. Drive selection and promotional activities across categories, define and monitor success metrics, and propose innovative solutions to shape the future of AVS.
6. Collaborate with external decision-makers and internal stakeholders to ideate new business opportunities and bring forward creative ideas to elevate our service.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's/Master's degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a similar program.
* Passionate about Account Management and with minimum 6 years experience of Retail or E-Commerce Account Management experience across buying, sales, merchandising, marketing, operations or logistics.
* Several years of professional experience in managing a business with P&L responsibilities.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups including senior business leaders, finance, HR and developers.
* Proven track record of delivering results through others in an ambiguous, fast-paced/deadline-driven environment.
* Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
* Solid social skills to build relationships both internally and externally.
* Previous experience in managing large-scale projects end-to-end with large teams involved.
* Excellent written and verbal communication (English, minimum C1 level).
* Advanced knowledge in MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Knowledge of a 2nd language.
* Experience using analytical, sales, and productivity tools including Salesforce, Google Analytics, SQL, HTML or website content management systems.
* Analytical problem-solving ability, with experience in data analysis, reporting, and forecasting to guide business decisions.
* A Master's degree (preferably in business management)/ MBA from a leading business school is beneficial.
* An entrepreneurial way of thinking and a strong hands-on, results driven mentality.
* Experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry is highly beneficial, as it provides valuable insights into managing vendors and understanding consumer behavior in related markets.
