Borgo Pignano is delighted to share an opportunity for a talented and passionate COMMIS DE RANG to join our team for the 2025 season.
Borgo Pignano is a 750 acre private estate hidden away in the hills and valleys of Tuscany whose ethos is a commitment to slow food, slow living and sustainable organic farming. The estate offers two different dining concepts: Ristorante Al Fresco, which offers an informal and relaxed dining experience with a focus on local and artisanal products, and Villa Pignano. The restaurant has been awarded a Michelin Green star and offers a sophisticated menu based on 0 KM products.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Chef de Rang in welcoming guests upon arrival at the restaurant
2. Organize the restaurant following the Chef de Rang's directions
3. Monitor cleanliness with an eye on the details
4. Support the Chef de Rang for guest satisfaction
5. Prepare all the requirements for the service
6. Keep all the equipment in order and tidy up the communal areas
7. In charge of cleaning and setting up tables during various services
8. Look after all aspects of the service until the end by creating wonderful memories
Requirements:
1. At least 1 year in the same position in the hospitality industry
2. Work in a professional and friendly manner
3. Proactively involved in teamwork and cooperate with every co-worker
4. Respect for rules
5. Passion for service, courtesy, and discretion
6. Well-groomed with good communication skills
7. Good knowledge of English
8. Respect for nature and the values that the earth represents
9. Own car
