Gross salary thought for the role ARS 3,500,000/5,500,000. (Depends on candidate's experience), as a benefit it has the OSDE 210 family plan. The company usually gives a bonus at the end of the year for all personnel, between ½ to 1 salary.

This position will be filled in January 2025, and it is important to indicate to the interviewees that, upon joining the company, they will have to travel to Italy and spend 3/6 months in training.
Role Overview
The role of the PRODUCTION MANAGER consists of managing and coordinating all internal production, painting, logistics-warehouse, and maintenance departments to ensure a correct and punctual fulfilment of customer orders, with the minimum commitment of resources and costs.
Activities:
* Supervise department managers, coordinating their work and developing their skills.
* Collaborate with the sales department and production planning to define delivery schedules based on plant saturation.
* Handle exceptional requests, coordinating extraordinary activities.
* Define the make or buy of the product and is ultimately responsible for industrialization, and decides on technical changes to the product.
* Modify dates and/or quantities according to information received back from line managers.
* Evaluate shift and personnel scheduling and the need for temporary workers.
* Coordinate with purchasing regarding the arrival of raw materials or to manage contingencies.
* Manage continuous improvement, problem solving, and cost reduction activities.
* Manage and coordinate maintenance and production stoppages.
* Liaise with external suppliers for work on equipment and moulds and new installations.
* Share production plan with the commercial department to maintain optimal service levels to customers.
* Coordinate production workflow across multiple product lines.
* Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
* Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
* Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations.
* Schedule shifts according to production needs.
* Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.
* Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
* Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives, etc.).
* Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
* Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff.
* Coordinate shop floor kaizen activities on continuous improvement.
* Maintain and improve procedures behind the framework of ISO 9001.
Work Experience:
* Proven experience as a production manager within multinationals or in complex/modernly organized companies, especially in the mechanical sector.
* Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
* Knowledge of production techniques in the metalworking industry.

* Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning).

Industry Experience:
Manufacturing, Sheet Metal Working, Stamping, roll forming, welding, painting.
Formal Education:
High school diploma: Further education or certification is preferred as Degree in Engineering or equivalent culture.
Language Skills:
Good understanding, both written and verbal: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, to build positive relationships; Knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken. Ability to work in complex contexts and international teams; Knowledge of modern ERP solutions, cloud-based. Excellent knowledge of the Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Business Travel:
Willing to perform a six-month training in Italy at headquarters.
