About the role
Based in Rome or Milan, we have a vacancy for a motivated professional to join our Surgical Care sales and contribute to the continued success of our growing global business.
Travelling will be part of the role also overseas.
You will be selling a range of products to key decision makers in surgeons, biomedical engineers, anaesthetists, healthcare managers in Italy starting from Spinal Orthopaedic surgery field.
You will work in partnership with our current sales team that sell into the hospital and acute care markets to develop pathways that lead to successful sales outcomes. This will be achieved through effective sales strategies and techniques, customer education, regular marketing presentations and ongoing market development duties. Effective territory management, self-motivation and planning are vital.
You will need to develop reliable forecasts and ensure regular reporting of your activity in the CRM.
We pride ourselves on developing long term relationships with our customers and providing outstanding customer service, so you'll become involved in selling, providing high level technical support, training and education for a range of world leading products. Patience, persistence and a passion to succeed are key to this role.
About you
You will have the opportunity to develop a new business in Italy:
you should already have 3/5 years sales/specialist experience in orthopaedics, especially in lumbar spine surgery and can grasp and explain technical and clinical concepts. Either way, we will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in this role.
In addition, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence a wide range of people, knowing the KOLs in Orthopaedics or Spine.
English proficiency is fundamental.
You are familiar with hospital decision-making processes.
You are recognized for your ability to surpass yourself and your tenacity.
A Company car is included, and the ability to travel nationally for on average one night per week is integral to your success in this role.
