PRIMARY SCOPE AND GOALS
As the Connectivity and Microgrid Control Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development, enhancement, and market success of our connectivity solutions and microgrid control systems. Leveraging your expertise in energy management, IoT technologies, and product strategy, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and drive growth opportunities for the company.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Product Strategy and Roadmap:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for connectivity solutions and microgrid control systems.
2. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify market trends, opportunities, and customer requirements.
3. Define product requirements, features, and specifications based on market insights and strategic objectives.
Product Development and Execution:
1. Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to drive product development from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with product vision and roadmap.
2. Prioritize features, manage product backlog, and define release schedules to meet project timelines and business objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
1. Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to drive product adoption, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
2. Engage with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry experts, to gather feedback, validate product ideas, and build strategic partnerships.
3. Communicate product updates, milestones, and roadmap plans internally and externally, ensuring alignment and transparency across the organization.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
1. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of connectivity solutions and microgrid control systems.
2. Monitor product performance, user feedback, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for optimization, feature enhancements, and iterative improvements.
3. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights and customer feedback to enhance product usability, functionality, and value proposition.
PERSONAL SKILLS
1. Strong technical background with a deep understanding of microgrid control systems, energy storage, renewable energy technologies, and power electronics.
2. Demonstrated track record of successfully launching and managing complex hardware/software products from concept to commercialization.
3. Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
5. Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation, sustainability, and driving positive impact in the energy industry.
BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCES REQUIRED
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience (3-4 years) in product management, with a focus on connectivity solutions, IoT technologies, or energy management systems.
