About the role
As Business Development Manager for the E-Commerce market, your main goal will be the execution of the E-commerce Division business development strategy in line with the defined targets. By hunting new business development opportunities with prospective clients, you will focus on financial gain.
The objective is to expand the customer base. You will be the front of the company and be dedicated to creating and applying an effective sales strategy within the geographic scope assigned. The role will drive growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with existing and new clients.
Your detailed responsibilities will be:
* Develop a growth strategy focused on customer satisfaction;
* Conduct research to identify new markets and potential customers’ needs;
* Methodical research of new prospective clients;
* Arrange business meetings with prospective customers;
* Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives;
* Prepare sales proposals and sales contracts ensuring adherence to rules and guidelines;
* Keep records of sales, revenue and payments;
* Collect and track competitors’ intelligence;
* Provide feedback and after-sales support;
* Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
The position is based in Fiorano Modenese (MO), Italy.
What you need to be successful
* At least 4/5 years of proven working experience as sales executive or a similar role within a packaging or intra-logistics companies;
* At least 2-year experience in the E-commerce machine market will be considered a fundamental plus;
* Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions with the adoption of up-selling and cross-selling approaches;
* Intra-logistics market knowledge;
* Communication and negotiation skills and ability to build solid business relationships;
* Fluency in English is mandatory;
* Willing to travel up to 25/30% of working time.
