Job Description:
A leading organization in the healthcare sector is seeking a Medical Affairs Senior Manager to provide scientific expertise and leadership within an assigned therapeutic area or product. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a range of key medical affairs activities, from data generation to medical communications and KOL engagement. As part of a collaborative effort, the successful candidate will support the business through the late-stage development and commercialization phases of products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all educational content and materials related to diagnostics product lines, disease states, industry trends, and publications.
* Review and interpret patient data from clinical studies, registries, and published literature, translating findings for diverse audiences.
* Lead logistical and organizational aspects of medical affairs activities and meetings with internal and external stakeholders, CROs, and KOLs.
* Provide therapeutic area expertise and medical input into the development and global commercialization strategy.
* Ensure accuracy, strategic focus, and compliance in medical and commercial materials, including symposia, congress presentations, and marketing materials.
* Develop and execute strategies for Real-World Evidence (RWE), Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), and Patient Advocacy.
* Serve as the primary contact for MedEd/ClinComm and execute activities of major significance to the organization.
* Review and approve promotional materials, packaging inserts, and product documentation in accordance with SOPs and policies.
* Identify and engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), expert speakers, and academicians for technical and clinical insights.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience in medical affairs, particularly within the diagnostics or therapeutic areas.
* Strong understanding of medical communications, scientific publications, and clinical data interpretation.
* Excellent leadership skills and experience in managing cross-functional teams and external collaborations.
* Expertise in navigating regulatory, clinical, and commercial environments with a focus on compliance and strategy.
