The Role
Job Summary
You will identify and acquire new customers, develop business opportunities, and convert them into profitable commercial success.
Responsibilities
1. Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals ensuring sustainable revenue growth
2. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and manage your own portfolio
3. Define and execute market strategies for each assigned country to increase revenue and market share
4. Negotiate and close profitable deals with customers, supported by colleagues from the sales team
5. Build and maintain lasting relationships with dealers, distributors, and agents
6. Oversee contract execution and ensure follow-up in close cooperation with cross-functional teams
7. Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events as an ambassador
Requirements
* 3+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial automation systems for fresh produce or food processing machinery
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Technology, Ag Tech, Horticulture, or related field - or equivalent experience
* Demonstrable affinity with technology or machine construction; knowledge of the fruit and vegetable sector is an asset
* Excellent MS Office skills; experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) would be great
* Fluent in Spanish and Italian
* Professional command of English; other European languages are a plus
