The Sales Manager will be responsible for an assigned customer portfolio within an assigned geographical coverage or based on assigned goals.
Job Responsibilities
1. Be responsible for sales initiatives: focused on new sales opportunities, client visits, and management.
2. Work across the Idrotherm 2000 Group providing cross-selling and upselling solutions.
3. Drive and monitor the sales activities focusing on commercial KPIs (e.g. order intake, marginality, proposals pipeline).
4. Lead and provide support on major contracts, tenders, and quotations.
5. Objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of Sales Representatives or distributors.
6. Track competitor activity and provide updates on competitor news and intelligence.
7. Be aware and understand the Quality Policy. Ensure that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the Idrotherm 2000 QMS.
8. Be aware of the quality of his/her own work and its impact on service delivery and contribute to the QMS improvement according to his/her role.
9. Pursue and secure business with consolidated customers in line with the business objectives.
10. Stay up to date with Idrotherm 2000 Group’s current and future offerings and technology solutions, including but not limited to customer tailored tools.
11. Lead and support the negotiation with the Clients.
12. Ensure customer relationship management tools are updated on time and are of excellent quality.
Experience
At least three years of experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of the following sectors is preferable:
* Pipes PE – PP – CAST IRON.
* Building and Developing Professional/Technical Knowledge: Gain core knowledge of technical/professional area.
* Business Development: Shape the business development strategy.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General or Economics is preferred.
Language:
- Second language as a plus: German and/or French.
