For a company within the Althea Group, a leader in medical technology management services, we are seeking an Operations Manager for project development in emerging markets.
The position requires stable tenure in the target countries.
Main Responsibilities
The resource will be assigned the following objectives and activities:
* Ensure compliance with tender requirements, execute activities stipulated in the service contract entered by the company, and apply correct rates.
* Oversee the execution of activities in the area of responsibility by defining schedules and intervening in critical situations.
* Prepare new service offers and collaborate in the preparation of offer documentation, aligning with the strategies presented by the company management, while supervising the start-up phase of new contracts or extensions of existing contracts.
* Analyze and report on activity progress according to methods and strategies, highlighting critical points and opportunities, and communicate any deviations in costs and/or revenues with respect to the budget.
* Be responsible for the development and start-up of projects assigned for business expansion.
* Manage the profit and loss account.
* Draft the budget for reference areas according to company guidelines, propose it to the company management for approval, and monitor its utilization.
* Ensure the correctness of the process of purchasing goods and services consistent with the budget and delegations assigned, referring to their structures, checking price congruence, and verifying contractual performance of suppliers.
* Supervise reports on managing relations with customers, associated companies, and suppliers, and intervene where necessary.
* Participate in personnel search and selection processes, indicating required technical skills and conducting technical interviews.
* Oversee internal reporting within the department.
* Coordinate all hierarchical levels reporting to achieve common objectives.
* Define organizational procedures for owned processes, submitting them for approval to the company management.
Requirements
We seek candidates with the following qualifications:
* Masters degree, preferably in economics, management, or engineering.
* At least 5 years of experience in companies managing multi-year service contracts, preferably in the maintenance of medical devices in the Healthcare sector, with at least 2 years acquired in international contexts.
* Knowledge of relevant regulations.
* Computer skills.
* Necessary knowledge of French and English.
* B license.
