About the Role
The Resilience and Recovery Portfolio supports DFES’ emergency management function to build disaster prepared and resilient communities and support communities in recovery.
We’re looking for a motivated Executive Support Officer to provide high level executive, secretarial and administrative support to the Assistant Commissioner, Resilience and Recovery.
As the Executive Support Officer, you will coordinate the compilation, validation and dissemination of all documentation under the responsibility of the Assistant Commissioner, undertake research projects and assist in the efficient and effective management of relevant human, financial and technological resources.
You will have a can-do attitude, confidently managing multiple competing priorities, with the ability to work independently. As a solution focused individual, you will display excellent communication skills and value building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, providing strategic advice and consultancy services on behalf of the Assistant Commissioner as required.
Employment Conditions and Additional Information
DFES is an emergency services organisation and all employees may be required to work or travel outside of normal business hours to assist with emergencies.
Additionally, the successful applicant will be expected to work from both Cockburn and Como offices, as required.
