As Compression & Steam Technology Lead System Engineer, you will be in charge of system definition and process integration for trains composed of electric motors, steam turbines, turbo expanders, centrifugal compressors, and reciprocating compressors. You will supervise the quality and timeliness of "systems integration" deliverables oriented to drive IET scope of supply for our customers and other departments.
As a Compression & Steam Technology Lead System Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Conducting and successfully completing HAZOP meetings and SIL review for personnel safety and asset integrity management.
* Developing predictive system design through modeling and numerical automation (Matlab/Simulink, FlowMaster, Hysis) to foresee transient behaviors.
* Leading System DR (DR1/DR2) assuring actions are completed on time and with quality.
* Working closely with Project Engineers to facilitate smooth project execution on R&P, Modules, LNG, OOP.
* Providing wide expertise on steam turbine, electric motor-driven trains, and reciprocating compressor auxiliary systems for Gas Core business.
* Contributing technical expertise to new energy technology solutions development such as Hydrogen, CO2, CCUS, and Energy storage.
* Building relations with all involved Engineering, Streams, Sourcing, and Field Service functions in TPS Organization.
* Attending technical meetings with customers and suppliers, providing support to testing and supply chain departments.
* Establishing and maintaining relationships with required external and internal interfaces to ensure customer requirements are understood and being achieved.
* Contributing to flawless execution of DM technical alignments with a focus on requisition productivity, allocating resources for assigned tasks, and balancing workload.
* Driving and broadcasting the innovative ideas process and enhancing the culture of Design to Cost.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have a Master’s Degree or PhD in Mechanical, Chemical, Energy, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or equivalent.
* Have knowledge of structural and fluid computational analysis commercial tools.
* Have at least 3 years of experience in O&G engineering environments or other energy-oriented realities.
* Exhibit good problem-solving, process improvement, and analytical skills along with interpersonal skills.
* Be a good team player and display strong communication skills.
* Be fluent in verbal and written English.
* Be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers.
* Demonstrate the ability to drive cultural change within the organization, with an open mind and technical acumen.
* Have a Six Sigma or Black Belt Certification, which will be considered a plus.
