Duties and Responsibilities:
* Identifying, evaluating, and originating the development of new solar and BESS projects with industry standards and best practices.
* Conducting feasibility and risk assessments.
* Present project proposals at information sessions, landowner meetings, and local council gatherings to communicate project benefits and progress effectively to stakeholders.
* Lead negotiations and finalize land use agreements in accordance with private law, ensuring all contracts are clear, comprehensive, and favorable for project execution.
* Establish and nurture a robust network of property owners, municipal leaders, regulatory authorities, and other external stakeholders to facilitate project development and gain community support.
* Coordinating external project developers or professionals and other internal departments at Recurrent, ensuring compliance with agreements and deliverables.
* Conduct research and maintain accurate ownership data and mapping using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications to support project planning and development.
* Managing budget and resources for assigned projects.
* Assume responsibility for both the technical and financial aspects of the proposed projects, ensuring that all approaches are feasible and contribute to the overarching goals of Recurrent Energy.
Knowledge:
Good understanding of the solar & BESS projects and Italy renewables sector.
Qualifications:
* Degree in a geographical, technical or economic degree
Experience:
* Demonstrated expertise and experience in "greenfield" project development in Italy, including regulatory compliance, grid connection processes, and land contract negotiation/management.
* Confident and convincing appearance when dealing with people
* At least two years of experience in renewable energy project development, particularly in solar and BESS.
* Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
* Knowledge of Qgys, Autocad, PVSyst, Google Earth.
* Experience with the technical and economic management of projects
* Willingness to travel for regular external appointments within Italy
* Open mind, quick in learning and ability to interact with all levels of the organization capturing their needs and expectations
* Ability to manage multiple projects across different regions simultaneously.
