The role:
The Senior Marketing Manager will lead marketing strategies and category plans execution in Turkey, ensuring brand growth and engagement across multiple channels. As Turkey represents a strategically important market for the Group, this role presents an exciting challenge, requiring innovative thinking (growth mindset), analytical skills and strong ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment.
Principal Accountabilities:
The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for executing marketing strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring effective brand positioning and engagement. This role involves developing comprehensive marketing plans integrating both digital and traditional approaches to drive growth. The candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies to optimize campaign execution and drive impactful results.
Main Responsibilities:
* Marketing Planning:
• Identify key sources of growth and assess their potential (i.e. ‘size of the prize’) ensuring a solid understanding of consumers’ triggers and barriers to buy.
• Grow mental and physical availability by building and executing holistic category plans across media and retail activation in line with business objectives.
• Develop the annual marketing calendar ensuring efficient and dynamic allocation of the marketing budget (ATL and BTL) with clear targets and KPIs by activity.
* Holistic Media Campaigns:
• Building on global toolkits and frameworks, adapt and execute localised 360° media campaigns to enhance brand awareness.
• In collaboration with the media agency, develop and orchestrate comprehensive media plans that seamlessly guide consumers through every stage of the journey - from awareness to conversion. Ensure broad target audience reach, effectively amplify product benefits and drive sales by leveraging an integrated mix of media touchpoints (traditional, digital and retail channels).
• Establish and manage a robust community of influencers to enhance brand credibility, foster authentic endorsement, and drive consumer trust and engagement.
• Manage digital platforms such as Google Ads, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Amazon Ads, and programmatic advertising.
• Manage collaboration with agencies, including media, social, and influencer agencies.
• Monitor campaign performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), providing reports and making data-driven adjustments for optimization.
* Trade Marketing:
• Utilising a solid understanding of category trends and shopper insights, collaborate closely with the Distributor to create compelling trade stories across traditional and online channels.
• Win at Retail (i.e. grow share/penetration) by building and implementing trade marketing strategies, including product assortment, distribution, promotional and retail media plans.
• Set targets and KPIs by activity, monitor progress and implement corrective action when needed.
• Drive brand communication and omnichannel marketing activities for key seasons across ATL and below-the-line (BTL) platforms.
• Maximise new product launches by coordinating efforts between headquarters and the Distributor.
* Events & Public Relations:
• Plan and execute major events in the region with the support of a PR agency.
• Manage event budgets, planning, execution, and amplification through PR and social media.
* Internal Reporting:
• Share monthly newsletters highlighting best practices with all markets.
Job Profile
Required:
• University Degree in Marketing, Communication or equivalent experience;
• Fluent in English written and spoken.
Preferred:
• Previous experience as a Marketing Manager in medium-large multinational Companies with matrix organizations in the FMCG or Domestic Appliances industries.
