Job Overview
We are dedicated to advancing and optimizing the laboratory to move science and healthcare forward. As a Product Sales Specialist, you will promote actions in the field to accomplish technical sales of reagents, instruments, and automation systems for our Hematology and Urine product lines.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide sales support for deep technical/scientific topics in Hematology to help customers overcome their objections.
* Support profitable sales growth in the local market for assigned customers.
* Demonstrate Beckman's instrumentation/reagents in the field and/or at the BEC site, promoting continuous knowledge growth about our systems.
* Plan and execute customer meetings to discuss complex technical matters and create tender solutions.
* Build strong relationships with customers as trusted consultants.
* Conduct follow-up visits to verify the status of installed instrumentation and maintain customer trust and loyalty.
* Ensure commercial effectiveness of customer visits and share relevant information with the Sales & Service Force.
* Establish product knowledge gaps among the Sales Force and solve them.
* Collaborate on data collection on competitors and market needs to improve market positioning and penetration.
* Serve as the point of contact for analytics matters in partnership with the Customer Care department.
* Run Business Reviews.
Requirements
* A university degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field, with previous experience in an Application/Product Specialist role or as a Researcher/Lab Technician/Volunteer in a University Hospital laboratory.
* Sound knowledge of Hematology, with previous working experience in this domain being an advantage.
* Excellent communication skills to explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
* Problem-solving skills, customer-centricity, goal orientation, proactivity, and an enterprising spirit.
* Availability to travel up to 80/90% of the time.
