The Local IT Support Specialist provides support to end users for service requests and/or incidents received. In this role, the engineer works with users to resolve workstation, network, and application issues. The role is to provide support to end users, within existing processes, including the service provider and in particular ticket assignment. The candidate should be fluent in English.
As such, he will be responsible for:
- Analyze and manage incidents and malfunctions
- Follow up on the processing of user requests
- Manage incident database: follow-up, consolidations, reporting
- Provide and manage workstations and related equipment
- Monitor and maintain workstations in branches in operational condition
- Dismantle obsolete equipment
- Manage IT equipment inventory
- Record incidents and reported anomalies
- Report user needs to the Support Manager
- Implement preventive control systems
- Raise awareness of cybersecurity among users within their area of expertise
- Promote technological solutions to site users
- Ensure compliance with IT Department IT guidelines
