Who we are looking for
We are seeking an ambitious and energetic Account Manager & Business Developer with a background in economics and project writing to support the team in applying for public grants and funding. The role involves expanding our customer base and promoting sustainable financial growth.
In this role, you will support our Senior Account in developing strong, long-term client relationships, maximizing team performance, and creating new upselling opportunities. You will also assist the finance team with project management and participation in public funding applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Qualify leads from marketing campaigns;
* Reach out to potential customers via cold calls and emails;
* Attend industry events and fairs to develop business opportunities;
* Collaborate with the finance team in writing and managing public funding projects;
* Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships;
* Identify new markets and customer needs through targeted research;
* Develop and manage strategic partnerships;
* Promote the company’s products/services by responding to or anticipating customer objectives;
* Keep the CRM, sales, and revenue data updated, focusing on sales goals;
* Support the finance team in managing budgets and financial projects related to public funding.
Requirements
* Degree in Economics, Marketing, or related fields;
* Proven experience as a business developer, sales executive, or similar role;
* Experience in writing and managing projects for public grants and funding;
* Skills in budget management and financial project support;
* Excellent presentation skills (PPT, Keynote);
* Proficiency in MS Office and CRM (preferably HubSpot);
* Experience managing customer and partner relationships;
* Strong negotiation, communication, and time-management skills;
* Fluent in Italian, English, and German.
