Based in Italy, in particular in Emicon plant in Meldola and covers for the following sites: Meldola, Piove di Sacco, Massa Martana. We are searching for a talented BUYER who share our values, with innovative capacity for working with us by integrating in a diverse team that work together.
This position will have the following responsibilities :
* Executes direct/indirect materials purchasing and procurement for given sites, in accordance with replenishment, logistics footprints and inventory control as approved by ETS Supply Chain.
* Responsible for issuing Purchase orders to ensure on time and right quantity material availability at the ETS Supply Chain agreed price and conditions using ETS approved vendors.
Responsibilities and deliverables include
* Manage relationships with suppliers in his scope of responsibility while driving efficiencies and cost reductions.
* Deploy contracts, standard terms & conditions, preferred payment terms and Incoterms, in conformance with business objectives and strategies set by ETS Supply Chain.
* Issue Purchase Orders and follow up with approval compliance process, Open PO reports communication to suppliers in support of materials expediting and inventory control.
* Ensure Material Availability with correct timing to support Site production
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders (eg. Technical dept.) and engage with vendors to coordinate production and shipping activities and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays.
* Identify and execute possibility of negotiation coming from Purchase Requisitions Analysis
* Manage and mitigate supplier price increase request
* Ensure Inventory stock levels availability
* Define, in agreement with the relevant Category Leaders, the correct replenishment strategy for the different material/suppliers
The Candidate Profile
Education and experience
* A Bachelor of Science degree in technical, engineering or business discipline is preferred; Master’s degree a plus.
* 5+ years of professional experience in procurement and material management roles preferred.

* Must have outstanding numerical, quantitative analytical thinking, organizational abilities and project management and negotiation skills.
* Experience in resolving materials flow issues, within a matrix functional organization.
* Ability to influence others & build productive, motivated, committed, high performance teams.
* Strong demonstrated ability for discipline and highly self-motivated for working on repetitive and routine tasks independently and under pressure, while achieving high standard results.

The incumbent will report to the Purchasing Director .
