Job Title: Software Solution Development Manager (SaaS)

What You'll Be Doing
The Solution Development Manager will lead internal and external project teams to ensure the successful customization of a cloud-based platform solution for customers across the EMEA region. This role focuses on empowering teams, aligning with business priorities, and delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop internal technical teams while managing external contractors across EMEA.
* Identify training needs and implement buddy programs for knowledge-sharing and team growth.
* Empower teams to develop expertise to meet customer expectations and overcome challenges.
* Ensure consistent resource availability and develop backup strategies for peak periods.
* Oversee dynamic resource allocation, balancing internal staff and external contractors.
* Establish governance frameworks to maintain technical consistency and quality.
* Ensure adherence to methodologies (e.g., TODO/TA) for quality documentation and execution.
* Oversee project deliverables to align with customer requirements and internal standards.
* Provide leadership and technical expertise for high-priority projects, particularly those requiring system integration and SaaS customization.
* Participate in customer-facing discussions to address implementation challenges and risks.
* Lead efforts to resolve escalated technical issues and intervene for complex projects.
* Collaborate with Delivery Managers to align technical deliverables with project timelines.
* Partner with Solution Consultants, PMs, and CSMs to address customer-specific needs.
* Act as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring alignment of expectations and project outcomes.
* Introduce innovative tools, processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency and delivery quality.
* Use feedback from customers and teams to refine processes and improve outcomes.
What We Look For in You
Education & Experience
* Master’s degree in Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
* Solid experience managing large development teams for a SaaS provider or integrator.
* Proven track record of mentoring and managing internal and external technical teams.
* Expertise in system integration, SaaS customization, and scalable solutions in a customer-facing role.
* Strong background in dynamic resource planning and ensuring consistent availability of technical teams.
Technical Skills
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex challenges with precision.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with regional stakeholders and customers.
* Ability to balance technical excellence with customer satisfaction in fast-paced environments.
* In-depth knowledge of software architecture, REST APIs, and integration systems (ETL, middleware, ERP, PDM, DAM).
* Experience with cloud systems and SaaS scalability.
* Fluency in English and Italian required (French or Spanish is a plus).
