As a Freight Sales Professional at Deutsche Post und DHL, you will be responsible for developing and administering field sales plans and processes to achieve revenue growth and enhance customer retention in a defined geographic region.Key Responsibilities:Administering field sales plans and processes, including providing input for sales forecasting and budgetingDelivering sales objectives and revenue growth for a defined geographic region, product line, or market segmentSecuring new business and building on existing core business through repeat ordersResponding to inquiries, resolving problems, promoting, and selling products/servicesIdentifying and contacting prospective customers and building relationships to generate future sales and repeat businessDeveloping and delivering sales bids, presentations, proposals, and conducting product demonstrations to customersFollowing up prospects, developing terms of sale, and closing business by connecting a customer need with a DHL solutionIntroducing products and promotions to customers and deploying marketing campaigns as appropriateBuilding rapport and trust with customers by being informed about their business and marketCoordinating with internal teams such as sales, marketing, operations, and service management for enhancing sales and customer retentionSupporting customer retention by staying in touch to ensure service satisfaction, providing information useful to the customer, and introducing additional services to the customerRequirements:3-4 years of experience in freight forwarding (AFR/OFR)Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualificationAt least B1 level of EnglishExcellent communication and persuasion skillsCustomer orientation, problem-solving, and time management
