Business Development Manager Role
Your Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate expertise in acquiring utility-scale solar and wind portfolios through profitable partnerships.
* Establish relationships with developers, advisors, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful collaborations.
* Lead investment cases and negotiate the acquisition of projects from origination to ready-to-build status, ensuring timely completion.
* Maintain awareness of regulatory and technical developments, providing regular reports and presentations to stakeholders on these matters.
* Present business cases to management for approval, securing investments and partnerships that align with company goals.
* Represent Uniper externally, contributing to market strategy development for long-term project pipelines.
Your Profile:
* Familiarity with Italy's regulatory framework and permitting processes, including local, regional, and national regulations.
* Expertise in utility-scale project development, encompassing permitting and interconnection processes for solar and wind projects.
* Proven negotiation skills, with a track record of closing successful business contracts.
* Project management experience, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
* Able to lead by influence and manage diverse teams across non-hierarchical structures.
* Proficiency in financial tools and creation of profitable business models.
* Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective engagement in international settings.
* Creative and strategic thinking, with a knack for identifying opportunities.
* Fluency in Italian and English (additional languages are an asset).
* Strong interpersonal skills, representing the business positively with stakeholders.
* Resilient and solution-driven mindset, committed to continuous learning.
* Advanced degree in engineering, business, economics, or law.
