Offer Description
The research focus is addressing key questions in motor control, perception, and rehabilitation with the aim of advancing both theoretical understanding and practical applications:
1. What makes a movement biological?
2. What are the individual "fingerprints" that define specific actions or movements?
3. How does the brain process, recognize, and generalize different motor actions?
4. How do biological motor signatures respond to external perturbations?
5. How do muscle synergies change in response to external perturbations?
6. Sensorimotor integration
Research Objectives: The project will focus on:
1. Identifying individual motor signatures during movement execution.
2. Investigating the impact of vestibular and proprioceptive perturbations on motor signatures and muscle synergies during upper limb motion.
3. Exploring the role of gravity as a reference frame in movement dynamics.
