MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Provide business and administrative support to EP Regional Director and Region South Sales Team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide timely and effective administrative support to a sales team.
* Prepare, draft, proofread and execute accurate business correspondence using excellent communication skills:
o Responsible for tracking, consolidating data and maintaining records, producing reports and presentations.
o Draft more complex sales documentation, proposals, reports and correspondence such as sales contracts and maintenance agreements.
o Take minutes of sessions / staff meetings.
o Maintain the current filing and database system; look for ways to improve current systems.
* Perform background research on customer accounts, prospects, competitors and industry trends to support the sales team’s activities.
* Marketing support for Congress organization: support the implementation of scientific and marketing activities at congresses in cooperation with marketing department (documentation, expense control, organization).
* Act as the point of contact between the EP Regional Director and internal or external colleagues and communicate with other departments such as OEC, Legal, Finance, EMEA and Global Marketing Dept. and DVP Executive Assistant.
* Support EP Regional Director in managing high quality relationships with key stakeholders (customers and other external stakeholders) enhancing company pillars and reputation.
* Support EP Regional Director in his/her role in implementing the new strategy, ensuring open communication, collaboration across the Region affiliates and employee engagement at regional level.
* Provide additional proactivity and tactical expertise to keep the EP Regional Director organized, informed and prepared for anything that comes his/her way.
* Responsible for calendar and scheduling management, along with coordinating travel arrangements and event planning:
o Coordinate and set up Leadership Sales Meetings and other Region South Meetings.
o Attend meetings when required.
o Organize all travels and hotel reservations and compile expense reports for the EP Regional Director.
* Set up sponsorship agreements and educational grants, complying with relevant regulations and code of ethics and compliance at Italian level.
* Develop a reasonable knowledge of EP products.
* Interact with other EP/Abbott assistants to build a collaborative work environment.
* Ensure all standing OEC, Regulatory and Quality Procedures are followed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma and Bachelor’s degree.
Experience/Background: Minimum 8 years in similar roles.
