About the Role
Your Moment Awaits…. Belmond is hiring a Purchasing Agent Retail to reinforce the purchasing activities of our retail shops within the Southern Europe Region which includes Italy, Spain and Portugal.
The role will be based primarily at our Fiesole Area Office.
The Purchasing Agent Retail will report to the Area Director of Purchasing.
Key Responsibilities
* Interaction with the purchasing manager:
o Ensure all requirements are in place to establish a business relationship with suppliers, including supplier data and commission, definition between purchased or consigned goods, payment method, items and quantity to be ordered, purchase price.
o Create the Order Form and send it to the supplier.
o Collaborate with the purchasing manager to create the sales item in conjunction with the order form.
o Enter the sales price defined by the Retail Manager.
o Generate the label with the sales price for displaying goods.
Logistics Management
* Manage incoming goods logistics, including data entry activities from suppliers to boutiques/warehouses, among boutiques, returns to suppliers, and supporting Boutique Agents.
Reporting Activities
* Report stock levels.
* Record daily revenue data entry activity.
* Monitor stock-outs, sell-through, best sellers, slow sellers, inventories, end-of-month consumption, and Revenue Sales reports to be sent to suppliers.
Additional Tasks
* Upgrade Point Of Sales systems of boutiques and SPAs in collaboration with the IT department to reduce manual data entry work.
