The Graduate Program Global Banking EMEA – Investment Banking track in few words: The Graduate Global Banking EMEA Program – Investment Banking track, is designed as a real experience accelerator to boost your professional development. You will join BNP Paribas CIB (Corporate & Institutional Banking) through a rotational 12-month program allowing you to better understand the different investment banking activities. This means two 6 months rotations: the first one in the Acquisition Finance team in Milan and the second one in the M&A team in Paris. What will your first 12 months look like? You will be part of a cohort of European graduates recruited from different countries and sponsored by a member of the Global Banking EMEA Senior Management Team. Your journey will start with a specific two-week development program from the Investment Banking Academy, covering both technical and soft skills. It will take place in the BNP Paribas training Campus in France, near Paris. Then, for your first rotation, you will be joining the Acquisition Finance team in Milan – corresponding to the department you will land at the end of the programme (permanent position). For your second rotation, you will have the opportunity of spending 6 months in Paris (our Head Office) joining the EMEA Advisory Group (EAG) platform. Acquisition Finance: by joining the Loan Capital Markets (LCM) team, you will contribute to the origination, structuring and execution of event-driven (e.g. M&A) and plain vanilla loan financing solutions in support of large and midsize investment grade corporates. You will be fully involved across the various steps of the assigned transactions, acting as an analyst of the team. EMEA Advisory Group (EAG): by joining EAG, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of M&A deals (buy or sell-side, public or private). You will be involved end-to-end, from marketing to execution. Some Examples Of Your Assignments In These Different Positions Contribute to the preparation of presentations and pitches to support the marketing effort, Carry out research on sectors and companies, analyze operational benchmarks, valuation work, by synthesizing information from various sources, Perform financial and risk analyses to facilitate discussions with the bank’s internal partners, develop financial models, Contribute to the proper execution of projects (preparation of marketing materials and financial models, process management), Support the marketing of transactions including the development of the strategy, schedule, target investors, collection and analysis of comments, Participate in the training of interns working in the team, Interact with internal (legal, syndicate, rating advisory, risk management, compliance) and external partners. Throughout and after the Graduate you will continue to benefit from an adapted development program. The missions are important, but so is the team and the work environment You will join the Global Capital Markets and EMEA Advisory Group departments of Global Banking EMEA, within CIB. The Global Capital Markets platform (of which Loan Capital Markets is a part) is in charge of debt and equity solutions to corporates and is deployed throughout the EMEA region, with 650 employees, the main teams being in London, Paris, Frankfurt, Brussels, Milan and Madrid. The Global Capital Markets teams work closely with Industry Groups and M&A teams (including EAG) as well as Global Markets. Within the EAG, you will join a team of around 200 Junior Bankers, from Analyst to Vice President, who support the Directors and Managing Directors of M&A EMEA and Industry Groups. The team has its main hub in Paris with over 80 juniors and has geographic offices in Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, UK, Dubai, Netherlands, Switzerland and Portugal. You will work within a very international and challenging environment. Your main location / home country will be: Milan, Italy During your rotation in Paris you will be based in a dynamic business district, near Opéra. What about the remuneration? The Graduate program is intended for people with less than 2 years of professional experience from the date of graduation and, at least, 1 relevant internship experience (Investment Banking / Debt Markets internship is a plus). You have a master degree diploma from a business school, engineering school or university equivalent with solid knowledge in corporate finance and financial modeling, and a willingness to invest yourself fully in the demanding and rewarding investment banking activities.
