We are looking for a Marketing Manager Italy to develop and implement marketing strategies that drive both B2B business growth and B2C adoption of our service.
In this role, you will be responsible for strengthening Scalapay’s presence in the Italian market, generating new leads among merchants, and increasing brand awareness among consumers. You will collaborate with the Sales & Account, Product, Strategy, PR, Growth, and Content teams to develop effective campaigns, strategic events, and co-marketing initiatives with our brand partners.

Responsibilities:
As a Marketing Manager Italy, you will:
1. Increase Scalapay’s brand awareness through integrated marketing campaigns, PR, and media partnerships.
2. Generate new B2B leads, supporting the Sales team in acquiring new merchants through initiatives such as events, content marketing, ABM, and digital marketing.
3. Develop B2C growth strategies to drive consumer adoption of Scalapay through branding, communication, and on-the-ground activations.
4. Plan and manage industry events and strategic partnerships, participating in trade shows, conferences, and initiatives that strengthen Scalapay’s positioning.
5. Lead co-marketing initiatives with brand partners, helping them integrate Scalapay into their communication strategies to maximize conversions.
6. Support new product launches, ensuring an effective go-to-market strategy for both B2B and B2C audiences.
7. Monitor and analyze marketing performance, optimizing strategies based on KPIs and market insights.
8. Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales & Account, Product, Strategy, PR, Growth, and Content, to ensure a data-driven and synergistic marketing approach.
You should have:
1. A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
2. 3+ years of experience in both B2B and B2C marketing, gained in scale-ups, retail companies, or agencies.
3. Strong understanding of the Italian events and trade media landscape and know how to leverage them to increase brand visibility.
4. Experience managing co-marketing campaigns and offline activations to engage both merchants and end consumers.
5. Ability to manage complex projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
6. You are familiar with marketing automation and analytics tools (HubSpot, Braze, Amplitude, etc.).
7. You are strategic yet hands-on- able to develop high-level marketing strategies while also executing them effectively.
8. You are a native Italian speaker and have full professional proficiency in English (company working language).
