We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Biologist to join Tethis’ team as an Analytical Laboratory Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cell biology and a proven track record in advanced biological analyses, including microscopy, immunofluorescence, and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). This role requires a detail-oriented and motivated professional capable of independently managing complex laboratory tasks while contributing to an innovation-driven environment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving excellence in our analytical processes and fostering a culture of scientific rigor.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform advanced cellular biology techniques, including immunofluorescence and FISH.
* Ensure accuracy and precision in sample preparation, staining, and analysis protocols.
* Analyze complex biological data with a focus on cellular and molecular imaging.
* Document experimental results thoroughly and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and regulatory standards.
* Monitor quality control processes to ensure validity and reproducibility of test results.
* Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contribute to their development and implementation.
Key Skills:
* Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a laboratory setting with strong emphasis on microscopy and molecular techniques.
* Proficiency in immunofluorescence, FISH, and other cellular imaging methods.
* Strong knowledge of biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology principles.
* Knowledge of basic principles of statistical data analysis.
* Knowledge or experience in the Liquid Biopsy field is considered a plus.
