Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) was created by the International Olympic Committee in 2001 in order to serve as the Host Broadcast organisation for all Olympic Games, Olympic Winter Games and Youth Olympic Games.
The Host Broadcaster is responsible for delivering the pictures and sounds of the Olympic Games to billions of viewers around the world. It produces and transmits unbiased live radio and television coverage of every sport from every venue. This feed is called the International Signal or the World Feed.
In March 2018, a Cooperation Agreement between the IOC and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) was signed, ensuring that OBS will serve as the Host Broadcaster for future Paralympic Games as well.
Olympic Broadcasting Services S.L. is the corporate entity that is charged with operating OBS in Madrid, Spain.

Job Description
The Planning Coordinator is responsible for providing overall administrative assistance to the department as well as coordinating various activities involving other OBS departments and the local organizing committee, Milano-Cortina 2026. The successful applicant will work in both English and Italian speaking environments at the IBC site.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Coordinate with the local organizing committee, Milano-Cortina 2026, on various matters, supporting the OBS team on-site, as instructed by the Senior Manager.
• Report any operational issues detected on site to the senior manager and follow up on their resolution, including health and safety matters.
• Keep all BOC information up to date to ensure the efficiency of the department.
• Check on space readiness with regards to deliveries, as instructed.
• Request and distribute pre-games passes.
• Assign, distribute, recover mobile phones, and troubleshoot any related issues, such as theft or loss.
• Assist in surveys and tours when necessary.
• Organize and assist in meetings with the local organizing committee.
• Provide translation assistance when needed.
• Actively participate in BOC reporting and issue-solving activities during games-time.
• Assist in preparing the BOC for games-time operations.
• Assist with keeping the BOC tidy and organized.
• Assist in training the BOC assistants.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

• Fast paced, construction work environment. Knowledge and awareness of HSE regulation and best practices is essential. The position is required to wear construction PPE during the fit-out phase.
