Reporting to a Convenience Director of Sales, the Senior Account Executive will plan, develop, and implement business-creating initiatives by working with cross functional areas of the company and the customers to achieve company financial objectives and priorities that are aligned with customer objectives. The Senior Account Executive will establish mutually agreed upon financial growth goals and objectives that will deliver profitable and sustainable growth for the company.

* Leads all aspects of the local Sales effort for Convenience Channel customers assigned to the Sr. Account Executive.
* Responsible for retaining a long-term direct customer relationship with assigned customers.
* Establishes collaborative relationships, both internally and externally, to deliver results against objectives.
* Determines best go to market strategy, working with leadership and cross-functional teams.
* Responsible for annual business planning execution for the respective lines of business.
* Develops, maintains and adheres to operating budgets and trade spending plans.
* Responsible for monthly sales forecasting in conjunction with Sales Planning, Demand Planning and Supply Planning Teams.
* Responsible for understanding of local market analytics for each of the assigned divisions.
* Maintains oversight to the customer supply chain to ensure the highest level of customer service.
* Leads the development and implementation of category driving initiatives and innovation.
* Participates in department and interdepartmental planning and management teams and works cross-functionally to improve processes within the organization.
* Develops and presents customer programs to multiple levels of management.
* Demonstrates the ability to create, define and present contingency plans to maximize growth in both revenue and margin.
* Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures.
* Understands and demonstrates the Company’s core values and operating principles.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Experiences that will support your success
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within the confection industry.
* Minimum of 5 years of account responsibility.
* Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
* Ability to travel as required to achieve results.

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $153,000.
