Soilmec SpA is looking for:
SALES AREA MANAGER ITALY & EUROPE
The resource will be responsible for managing direct and indirect sales within a given geographical area with the objective of reaching area targets.
Activities:
1. Support sales management in defining sales policies and actions for the development of the target market
2. Carry out the drafting of the sales budget, coordinating with the Manager
3. Carry out competitor analysis, evaluating commercial initiatives to increase turnover
4. Manage the area of responsibility directly, ensuring the achievement of sales and margin targets
5. Develop and maintain relationships with current customers, constantly monitoring their satisfaction, including periodic visits.
6. Seek new customers by exploiting any channel, implementing promotion and incentive actions
7. Conduct periodic reviews of turnover status and collections, as well as the progress of commercial initiatives in the assigned area
8. Monitor critical customer solvency situations, defining overdraft up to assigned ceilings
9. Research and develop new dealers in assigned area
10. Support Manager in range planning, noting product development/modification needs in assigned area
11. Define and verify pricing policies in assigned area
12. Manage participation in trade shows in the relevant area of our products
13. Draft post-trip reports by forwarding them to company management
Requirements:
14. Bachelor's degree in engineering (industrial, management, mechanical) or technical diploma
15. Previous experience of at least 2 years in the position in the industrial machinery and/or earthmoving sector
16. Knowledge of commercial contracts and usual international forms of payment appreciated
17. Willingness to travel frequently within the relevant territory
18. Good knowledge of the English language
19. Mastery of the Office package
20. Excellent listening and communication skills
21. Ability to analyze context and problem solving
