As the Product Manager for gifted_GENE, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our predictive maintenance SaaS product. This role requires a strong understanding of both B2B software and the unique demands of space mission operations. You will be responsible for guiding the product’s development, collaborating with engineering, sales, and marketing teams, and ensuring gifted_GENE remains a trusted solution for mission operations. You will be accountable for the product’s success metrics, including customer growth, user satisfaction, and financial performance.
Tasks
* Product Vision & Strategy:
o Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for gifted_GENE, positioning it as the industry’s leading solution for predictive maintenance in mission control centers.
o Identify and prioritize new features that address customer needs, optimize mission performance, and maintain AIKO’s competitive edge.
o Ensure alignment of gifted_GENE with AIKO’s strategic objectives, keeping a close eye on market trends, customer feedback, and industry innovations.
* Product Development & Delivery:
o Partner with the engineering team to oversee the product lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring gifted_GENE meets quality and performance standards.
o Develop and refine workflows for predictive maintenance, collaborative tools, and alert systems, enabling mission control teams to prevent and mitigate system anomalies.
o Lead cross-functional teams, working closely with sales, marketing, and support to launch new features and improve the product based on customer feedback.
* Customer & Market Insights:
o Engage with customers, including satellite operators and satellite manufacturers, to gain insights into their operations, needs, and challenges.
o Conduct regular market research to stay informed about competitors, customer preferences, and technological advancements in the space sector.
o Develop strong client relationships with industry leaders like EutelSat OneWeb, Tyvak International, and SITAEL, helping AIKO maintain its reputation as a valued partner.
* Performance Tracking & Improvement:
o Define and track KPIs for gifted_GENE, including uptime, response times, customer satisfaction, and predictive accuracy.
o Use data-driven analysis to identify opportunities for optimization, ensuring gifted_GENE consistently delivers value for customers and achieves high adoption rates.
* Business & Financial Accountability:
o Drive business value for gifted_GENE by managing product pricing, forecasting, and profitability, with a focus on delivering sustainable growth.
o Support sales in positioning gifted_GENE effectively, and contribute to client proposals and pitches to demonstrate the product’s unique benefits and ROI.
* Product Reporting & Accountability:
o Regularly report to the C-level team on gifted_GENE’s performance, including revenue, customer acquisition, operational costs, and other KPIs.
o Communicate product updates and financial results to ensure alignment with AIKO’s overall growth strategy.
Requirements
* Experience:
o 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally in B2B SaaS or high-tech software solutions, with exposure to predictive maintenance or AI-based applications.
o Proven success managing software products from development to commercial launch, with an emphasis on user-focused design and data-driven improvements.
* Skills & Knowledge:
o Strong understanding of SaaS software development, analytics, and predictive maintenance technologies, with a preference for experience in mission-critical or aerospace applications.
o Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and prioritize complex tasks.
o Data-driven mindset, with strong analytical skills to assess customer needs, market opportunities, and product performance.
* Education:
o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced business qualifications are a plus.
* Languages:
o Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
