The Shipping with Amazon (SWA) On The Road (OTR) manager is a pivotal role which maximises Operational efficiency and DSP experience. Excellent at leveraging operational and stakeholder relationships, they are the custodian of DSP experience at station level ensuring the highest standards and creating a ‘win-win’ culture between Operations and the DSPs.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Working with OTR safety and site operations to deliver regional safety metrics.
2. Lead OTR performance improvement across the region and provide RLT weekly visibility, including solutions.
3. Deliver Regional WBR for on-road performance (DSP scorecard / Ops Scorecard) for the region.
4. Leading improvement activities in key priority areas for the Region (e.g. DA ratios, rostering performance, nursery compliance, DNR).
5. Create sustainable business practices that create a ‘win-win’ culture between Operations and the DSPs.
6. Ensure a best in class DSPs' Driver experience and be the voice of the DSP across the Region.
7. Working with site operations, ACES and CO ensure routing efficiency and best practice is followed to improve CPP.
8. Own, deliver and execute the regional resourcing plans.
9. Execution of the SWA Ramp up and down plan.
10. Plan Regional SWA network changes (PCD, mech changes, launches, process improvements).
11. Coordinate SWA Programs, OTR ACES and OTR Safety projects across the sites.
12. Partner with Senior Regional Manager and SWA Program Teams as key stakeholder.
A Day in the Life
The OTR manager defines the medium-term SWA OTR strategy, leading and influencing both internal and external stakeholders. They take the lead for OTR capacity planning, OTR Ramp plans and work closely with capacity team, Business Coaches, OTR ACES, SWA Programs, OTR Safety and Community teams to implement best practice. They work closely with site DSMs and Delivery Ops as a trusted OTR SME partner. They are required to work flexibly and travel between multiple sites weekly, with five days per week spent in station. The role is field based aligned to up to 3 Last Mile Delivery Stations plus associated nodes which requires a significant level of travel.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. A degree.
2. Advanced proficiency in English and in the local language.
3. Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.
4. Relevant experience in using data analytics to solve problems such as customer, partner or business performance issues.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain or distribution.
2. Experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership.
3. A bachelor’s, master’s or advanced degree in business management, economics, law, engineering or supply chain and logistics.
4. Relevant experience in account management in a fast-paced environment.
