Finance & Administration Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance & Administration Manager to join our client's team, a leading International Company specializing in wastewater treatment equipment for civil and industrial applications.
About the Role
The successful candidate will report functionally to the Group CFO and be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage the month-end closing process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and control validations.
* Prepare and review monthly financial statements in accordance with company policies and timetables.
* Analyze and explain variances related to budget and forecast.
* Lead the process for preparation and review of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
* Manage fixed assets, including responsibility for additions, dispositions, and depreciation.
* Oversee the capital expenditure process, including coordination of funding requests and budget tracking.
Requirements
* 5-10 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles, including 2-3+ years in a leadership role.
* Understanding of Italian GAAP and relevant financial accounting regulations.
* Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
* Proven ability to set priorities and work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced Excel worksheet skills.
* Experience working in private equity-backed companies preferred but not required.
