**What does the IT Data Platform structure do?**
The IT Department is functionally responsible for the IT structures of the companies in the BNL BC Group and coordinates the IT community of the BNPP Group in Italy with the aim of achieving all possible synergies, ensuring full operational consistency and enabling the digital transformation of our Group.
In the context of the BNL IT Department, the IT Data Platform is responsible for defining and implementing the technology strategy of the Bank in terms of Analytics, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence and Data Management.
The team is therefore responsible for evolving and maintaining operational data architecture in support of the IT Data Platform, as well as designing solutions for data integration and exposure.
**What will you do concretely?**
As a COBOL Developer, you will be part of the IT Data Platform team and involved in activities related to the implementation and evolution of E2E solutions in the Data area through:
- The implementation of data ingestion and preparation pipelines
- End-to-end management of data through the creation of components/processes in the Mainframe (batch & online) area
- Operational support on running applications/infrastructural themes
You will perform these activities in service of the various business areas of BNL, in a dynamic, collaborative and multidisciplinary context, and also participate in innovative initiatives for technological transformation, starting from the study and prototyping phases.

The ideal candidate has some of the following skills:
* Excellent knowledge of COBOL, COBOL II and JCL languages
* Deep experience in analyzing application logs in the mainframe
* Good knowledge of Serena ChangeMan
* Good knowledge of the OPC/TWS scheduling tool
* Advanced knowledge of SQL language, mainly DB2
* Familiarity with event-driven systems on MQ codes
* Knowledge of Agile Framework, particularly Scrum methodology
* Knowledge of service-oriented architectures design patterns
* Good knowledge of English language, level B2
**Background of the ideal candidate:**
· Holds a Master's degree in scientific disciplines (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or similar)
· Possibly has 3/5 years of experience in developing mainframe solutions
**Our offer:**
The contract envisaged is indefinite, the remuneration follows what is provided for in the National Collective Contract for Credit and is commensurate with the experience gained
