Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Medical Advisor with a strong scientific background and at least two years of experience in a similar role to join our Medical Affairs Department.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for all medical aspects of projects and supporting brand strategy according to the requirements of our rapidly developing organization with a strong product pipeline across multiple therapeutic areas. The role involves approximately 20% travel, including overnight stays.
As a key member of our Medical team, reporting to the Medical Manager, you will:
* Interact regularly with the scientific community through in-person visits, meetings, and congresses.
* Communicate the innovative value of our products to relevant physicians.
* Support Key Account Managers, Commercial, and Medical teams on field visits as needed.
* Collaborate with the International Clinical Operations group on studies and Line Manager for screening investigator-led study proposals and managing requests according to our procedures.
* Provide support to national Investigators participating in Celltrion-sponsored studies as required.
* Offer scientific material/training to healthcare personnel and/or field force when requested.
* Contribute to medical affairs activities, including advisory boards, congress symposia, speaker programs, conference participation, and development of summaries of key clinical data.
* Review promotional materials before approval by the Head of Scientific Service to ensure their medical content and independence.
* Deliver internal and field force training in accordance with affiliate needs across therapeutic areas.
* Maintain legal compliance with applicable local rules and regulations, aligning with applicable law, Farmindustria code, and our code of conduct.
Essential Requirements
* Scientific Degree (medicine, pharmacy, biology, or equivalent).
* Achievement of PhD and/or master program (desirable but not mandatory).
* Fluency in English.
* Deep knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas, including pathologies, characteristics, products, therapies, clinical studies, and treatment pathways.
* Understanding of biology and medicine-related aspects of assigned therapeutic areas.
* Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a medical role (Medical Liaison, Medical Advisor) in an Italian company.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the national healthcare system.
* Knowledge and experience in Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Hematology, Allergology, Pneumology, biological/biosimilar drugs (desirable but not mandatory).
Workplace: Milan (with over 80% of time spent in office and 20% in field)
