MISSION
The Service Contract Product Specialist is responsible for evaluating the optimal market price positioning for all service contracts by developing detailed business cases and performing competitor benchmark analyses. The role ensures the profitability of service contracts through regular monthly performance reviews, in-depth analyses with local markets, and the development of innovative tools to support sales channels. A key focus is on increasing customer retention by designing and launching new service contract products that meet customer needs. Additionally, the specialist manages the setup and implementation of programs for new models and model years (MY), working in close collaboration with external suppliers to guarantee seamless execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
* Perform detailed reporting and analysis to identify and implement strategies for improving Service Contract profitability.
* Review and update extended warranty pricing, including benchmarking against competitor pricing strategies.
* Define content and pricing for services related to new models and model years (in collaboration with external suppliers).
* Oversee the implementation of new services within internal systems, working closely with external partners to ensure smooth integration.
* Evaluate mandatory requirements for pre-paid maintenance programs.
* Develop and manage the Bundle Project within the Modis CS+ system.
* Act as a key interface with Finance, Regions, Stellantis, Product, and Marketing teams.
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in the Aftersales area (preferable, but not mandatory).
* Previous experience in the automotive sector is considered a strong plus. Solid understanding of profit analysis and aftersales processes.
* Proficiency in data analysis, with experience using tools such as Excel (advanced level), QlikView, and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations. Familiarity with Word and Outlook for day-to-day operations.
* Fluency in Italian. A strong command of English is also essential, with a minimum proficiency level of B2, including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
* Effective public speaking and professional writing skills for internal and external communication.
* Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
