We are looking for a Spacecraft Engineer to work on our client-site, an important industry of the Space Sector, for an ASI (Agenzia Spaziale Italiana) well-known Space project!
Both locations are possible: Rome or Bari area. Then you will be temporarily detached to ASI premises, in Matera (Italy).
You could join the Operations Engineering Service in the frame of an exciting Satellite constellation project, managed from the Italian Space Agency (ASI) site.
This position is open to protected categories under Italian Law 68/99 (“Rules for the right to work of disabled people”).

Tasks and activities
The scope of work will include:
* Contribution to operations procedures execution during pre-launch, launch and commissioning phase.
* Operations support for the mission management and mission planning.
* Preparation and validation of nominal and contingency procedures.
* Off-line evaluation of SC performance.
* Support maintenance of on-board SW.
* Management and maintenance of FOP.
* Support GS team for the anomaly management.
Skills and experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
* An engineering degree in a relevant technical field (Aeronautics, Aerospace engineering, etc.).
* A few years of experience as Spacecraft controller or a first experience as Spacecraft Operations Engineer.
* Knowledge of satellite sub-systems and operations procedures application and management.
* Capability to fully understand spacecraft architecture and ground segment system (as MCS, SC Planner, PL Planner) to support the SC operations.
* Direct experience on mission operations.
* Leadership and decision-making skills in spacecraft operations.
* Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.
* Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.
* Good level of written and spoken Italian and English.
