This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and smart sales manager to join our outstanding team in Belluno, Italy.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sales of food service and food retail products, as well as associated services in the European market.
You will lead and grow accounts within your designated area and ensure the achievement of sales objectives in terms of revenue across different market segments and with various collaborators (OEMs, Wholesalers, End Users, Agents, Contractors). Collaborating closely with the Marketing team, you will analyze market dynamics, technological trends, and client needs to identify the appropriate product mix and the best solutions moving forward.
Key Responsibilities Of The Role
* Achieve sales targets for assigned areas, broken down by area, client, and product mix.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and partners.
* Focus on solving client problems efficiently in their area, prioritizing client needs.
* Prepare reports on client visits and maintain the CRM system constantly updated.
* Develop product forecasts and share them with Operations as part of the S&OP process.
* Draft quotes, tenders, and finalize contracts as needed.
* Gather information and conduct benchmarking on competitor products.
* Participate in trade fairs and seminars.
* Draft contracts with distributors, agents, and manufacturers, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
* Manage communications with all partners to introduce new products according to campaign schedules.
* Provide regular and timely updates on Trade Compliance (embargoes, end users, final destinations, etc.).
Required Qualifications And Experience
* Strong technical background in the Refrigeration/HVAC sectors.
* Proven track record of developing portfolios and increasing sales in Italy and Europe.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Availability for frequent travel within Italy and abroad (50% of the time).
* In-depth technical knowledge of company and competitor products.
* Strong proficiency in English and Italian.
Preferred Qualifications And Experience
* Experience in the field of electronic controls.
* Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce is a plus.
* Experience in creating sales enablement materials such as presentations, datasheets and product guides.
