Underwriting Assistant - Operations

Within the Operations department of AXA XL Italy, you will join the Middle Office team that aims to provide a high-quality service for our clients, activating and managing insurance contracts lifecycle on complex risks. Providing efficient administrative services, you will deal with brokers and clients of large companies, within an international dimension with the aim of solving contractual situations and every need of our customers at national and international level. You will have the opportunity to relate to all insurance departments from Underwriters, Finance and Claims, also communicating with our colleagues in other countries to activate insurance programs abroad.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
1. Ensure that administrative processes related to the complete policy lifecycle are efficiently managed from A to Z, with a high level of quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
2. Check the conditions of acceptance of the customer's request, interacting with external subjects (borkers) and internal subjects (underwriters, network partners).
3. Be the point of reference for external and internal subjects, as well as colleagues abroad for the management of international customers.
4. Monitor, plan and issue contractual documents, coordinating with your supervisor, your team and internal and external subjects of the Company.
5. Manage and monitor the evolution of performance through the data provided by company systems, in terms of quality, speed and customer needs.

We are looking for someone who has these qualifications and skills:
6. Knowledge of insurance policy forms (Property and Casualty), operating systems, rating, coding, and policy administration.
7. Knowledge of the insurance processes and regulatory system. Anticipate key issues and negotiate high stakes or multi-entities contracts.
8. Customer centricity: place the customer at the center of all decisions and actions. Use empathic listening and formulate customized advice and solutions. Understand and anticipate customer needs and behaviors.
9. Able to work under his/her own initiative and manage priorities to meet tight deadlines.
10. Communicate and work in Italian and English.
11. Work in team with people with different skills, expertises, from different places and cultures to achieve collective goals.
12. Adapt quickly to changes, show appetite for the unknown, learn in all circumstances
