Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
Your mission
You will become a member of our Sales team and build up business activities by selling the entire software solution suite to Strategic Named Accounts and/or within key vertical markets.
Position Siemens Digital Industries Software as a preferred provider and trusted advisor that best responds to customer’s needs!
Our Sales organisation in Italy has around 10 members right now, reporting directly to the Sales Director. The regions of our current focus are Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna (that is where you should be based).
Key responsibilities
* Use extensive knowledge of clients’ industry, market segment, business operations, direction, focus, and resources to demonstrate Siemens value
* Build effective strategies to reduce competitive threats and acquire competitive information through win/loss analysis
* Use strategic value selling methodology, tools, and processes to improve sales efficiency on complex projects and pursuits
* Engage prospects and develop strategic recommendations that position our products and services to advance the customer’s strategic initiatives and deliver mutual value
* Build a broad influential network to create additional opportunities
* Establish overall territory plans, and maintain a sales pipeline
* Establish and maintain forecast accuracy for the account portfolio
* Collaborate with colleagues such as Presales consultants, Portfolio Developers (PFD), etc.
* Lead cross-functional teams to build competitive advantage
Qualifications
* Engineering degree or equivalent
* A track record of success in selling complex technical software solutions, such as: PLM, ALM, CAx (Design or Simulation), BI, Cloud or MOM
* Ability to lead cross-functional teams and to achieve targets
* Ability to identify key stakeholders and decision makers and to establish long-term relationships of trust, credibility, and respect with them, ability to influence
* Strategist flexible to work independently as well as in a team in a collaborative environment
* Phenomenal communication skills in Italian and communicative English
* Willing to travel within Italian territory
