Part-Time Contract Manager Description
Our client in the commercial construction industry is looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join their dynamic team in Georgia. This high-visibility and high-impact role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in a flexible, part-time capacity. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and modifying contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders to protect the company’s interests while building strong, collaborative relationships with external partners. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of general construction contracting, subcontracting, and construction law, with the ability to interpret complex contract terms, flow-down provisions, and insurance requirements.

Part-Time Contract Manager Responsibilities
• Review, analyze, and negotiate construction contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders for commercial, multimillion-dollar projects
• Provide strategic guidance on contract language, risk mitigation, and insurance requirements
• Draft and amend contract provisions to ensure compliance and protect company interests
• Present contract terms and recommendations to leadership for review before execution
• Collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders to maintain positive, long-term relationships
• Manage contracts across various delivery methods
Part-Time Contract Manager Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 15+ years of contract management experience, w/ a focus on commercial construction required
• Strong knowledge of construction law and industry-standard contract terms required
• Extensive experience in contract negotiations, risk assessment, and compliance required
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills required
