PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Within the Procurement team, we are looking for a Sourcing Area Manager.
As a Sourcing Area Manager (or Commodity Manager), you will play a key strategic role in defining, managing, and optimizing the supply base for specific components. You’ll help shape our transition toward digitalization and sustainable sourcing, driving innovation across our supply chain.
Your Main Responsibilities:
* Define and implement sourcing strategies for specific commodities, aligned with global purchasing and innovation objectives.
* Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify strategic suppliers, assess risks and opportunities, and build long-term partnerships.
* Lead complex negotiations (cost, lead time, quality, terms), contributing to IVECO’s overall product competitiveness.
* Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to support new project development and the introduction of new components.
* Monitor supplier performance and KPIs, ensuring quality, compliance, and operational continuity.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
* At least 5 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain roles – ideally within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
* Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
* Proactive mindset, results-oriented approach, and team spirit.
* Fluent English (additional languages are a plus).
