Job Description
The Employee Relations/Labor Relations (ER/LR) Specialist will be responsible for fostering a calm social climate with the RSU and maintaining it throughout the year in conjunction with the HR Department. This role involves:
1. Participating in the preparation of contract negotiations, grievances, and arbitration, in conjunction with the HR Department, by proposing negotiation and communication strategies.
2. Supporting and advising managers and employees on work-related legal issues.
3. Implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure the company's compliance with legal developments (including case law) in Italy.
4. The ER/LR Specialist will be the main point of contact for elected representatives and trade unions.
You will report to the Head of HR Southern Europe.
Key Responsibilities
1. Participating in steering the unions (RSU).
2. Advise the company's management on social/ER/LR strategy.
3. Advising internal management on social issues and challenges.
4. Leveraging technology and tools to streamline customer service processes, enhancing communication channels, and improving customer experience.
Skills & Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, business, labour relations or equivalent field.
2. At least 3 years' experience in labour relations management.
3. Sound knowledge of Italian labour and employment law.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the company.
6. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
7. Professional English and Italian.
