IQM Selezione is a national recruiting company seeking an experienced Junior Technical Sales - Polymers and Additives professional to join one of Japan's largest trading companies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reach country sales and profit margin targets;
* Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close sales;
* Successfully manage and optimize current business accounts;
* Define, develop, build and successfully manage new business accounts;
* Correspond with suppliers and buyers and respond to inquiries;
* Identify and successfully deliver new business opportunities;
* Represent the company at meetings and exhibitions;
* Report monthly sales execution to management;
* Report on market trends in the country.
Ideal Profile:
1. Technical education and deep commercial understanding;
2. Possesses a degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Sciences or other similar fields;
3. 3-5 years of experience in international companies within the chemical industry, operating in production and distribution of polymers throughout Italy;
4. Strong technical knowledge of the chemical industry, materials and tools;
5. Knowledge of Polymers such as Engineering plastics, high performance materials, thermoplastic elastomer for different applications like compounding, automotive, medical, etc.
6. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point);
7. Italian speaker; Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in other European languages is a plus;
8. Availability and strong interest to travel nationally and internationally (about 50% of the time).

Workplace:
Milan, with availability to travel. Company car in pooling.
Compensation and Benefits:
Full-time employment contract; Gross salary will be related to the effective experience of the candidate.
