Position in the Transportation Sector:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing sales in Italy within the transportation sector, with the aim of increasing market share, consolidating presence on the territory, and maximizing commercial results. They will collaborate closely with the operational team and define commercial strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
* Customer Portfolio Management: Identify, acquire, and manage new customers in the national transportation sector. Maintain and develop long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Commercial Management and Negotiation: Develop and implement sales plans aligned with company objectives, negotiate contracts, and define customized solutions based on client needs.
* Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competition, and emerging needs in the transportation sector to identify business opportunities. Propose new solutions and services to meet market demands.
* Team Coordination: Collaborate with the logistics and operations team to ensure the effectiveness of commercial offerings and customer satisfaction.
* Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track sales performance, analyze KPIs, and provide periodic reports to management. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
* Team Training and Motivation: Coordinate and support the local sales team, motivating members to achieve set goals, providing continuous training, and monitoring their professional development.
* Budget Management and Costs: Plan and manage the sales budget for assigned areas, monitoring resource allocation and controlling costs.
Required Qualifications:
* Experience: At least 5 years of experience in sales roles within the transportation, logistics, or related sectors. Previous experience in managing a commercial team will be considered an asset.
* Transportation Sector Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the market and dynamics within the transportation sector, focusing on national logistic and transportation solutions.
* Commercial Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills with clients. Experience in managing and developing a customer portfolio.
* Result-Oriented: Strong focus on achieving revenue targets, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
* Leadership: Ability to guide, motivate, and train a sales team, adopting a coaching-oriented approach.
* IT Skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software for sales management.
* Languages: Excellent Italian language skills. A2 English knowledge is also required.
RAL range: €60-75k + bonuses, company car.
